They completely damaged my friend’s property and acted like total scammers. I strongly recommend avoiding Akeel at all cost

AVOID THIS COMPANY! FULL OF CROOKS AND CON ARTISTS IN LUTON. They started a job for foam insulation, but the extractor fan and gas pipe work were done to dangerous standards. Materials for the job were delivered to my house and left on my driveway for about two weeks before I was eventually told about it and they came to take it away. We were originally told the work was funded by the government, but later they claimed there was no funding — despite already starting work on the gas line. Now they have walked away from the job saying it cannot be done. Luton’s number one con artists. Reported. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

SCAMMERS! THEY TAKE THE FUNDING AND KEEP FOR THEMSELVES Absolutely terrible experience with this company. They started the work and then abandoned the job, leaving it incomplete and in an unacceptable state. Despite repeated attempts to contact them, they have not returned to finish the work. We were given completely inconsistent information about the funding — first we were told it had been approved, and later we were told it had not. This has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The property has been left with exposed vents and pipework which they have not come back to rectify, despite this being raised multiple times. Most of our communication was with Akeel from the company, and unfortunately our experience dealing with him was very poor. Promises were made that the work would be completed, but nothing has been resolved and the issues remain. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before using this company.

I recently used Energy Green Insulation for my house at Leagrave road, Luton for insulation work on my home, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From the very first phone call, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. They started by arranging a free home assessment, and the surveyor who came out was fantastic really friendly, punctual, and clearly knew his stuff. He took the time to inspect my property properly, explain all the options available (loft insulation, cavity wall, etc.), and answer all my questions without any pushy sales talk. Everything was explained in simple terms, including how the insulation would improve my home’s warmth and energy efficiency and what kind of savings I could expect. Once I decided to go ahead, communication was excellent. The office team kept me updated at every stage, confirmed dates, and made sure I knew what to expect on installation day. The installers arrived exactly when they said they would and were a pleasure to have around polite, respectful, and clearly very experienced. They worked efficiently and tidily, protecting my floors and cleaning up after themselves once the job was done. The results have been amazing. My home now feels so much warmer, even on cooler days, and I’ve already noticed that the heating doesn’t need to be on nearly as much. You can literally feel the difference walking into the rooms that were previously cold. On top of that, I’ve started to see a noticeable drop in my energy bills, which is a huge bonus! What impressed me most, though, was the company’s genuine care for customer satisfaction. They called a few days after the installation to check that everything was performing as expected and that I was happy with the work that kind of follow-up service is rare these days. Overall, Energy Green Insulation is a company that delivers exactly what they promise top-quality workmanship, great communication, and real results. If you live in or around Luton & want to make your home more energy-efficient, comfortable, and eco-friendly, I can’t recommend them highly enough. They’re professional, reliable, and clearly take pride in doing a great job. Five stars from me I’d definitely will be recommending them to friends and family with a special shout out to Farhan, Basit, Sherry and Shabbar. Real gems of Luton!

Zero doubt that they will reply and say that they didn’t carry out the appalling work leaving an 81 year old with no heating and wrecking the house in the process back in March. Can categorically tell you they did and avoid them. Ali Mustafa carried out the works (he’s mentioned in other reviews).another team have agreed that the works need correcting. I have had an independent company in who say the same and an electrician that has confirmed that the power supply is not only wrong but potentially dangerous. And yet…..Still nothing. Please report to gas safe as I have them coming out. Perhaps it’s the only way to stop these awful people and company continuing their unsafe work.
