Privacy policy

Find My Heat Pump Installer (findmyheatpumpinstaller.co.uk) is operated as a directory of heat pump installers, underfloor heating specialists and insulation contractors across the UK. This page explains how we handle personal data connected with the site. If you have any questions, you can contact us at [email protected].

What information we hold We do not run any sign-up forms, accounts or newsletters, so we are not actively asking visitors to hand over personal details. That said, like almost every website, our server automatically records some technical information whenever a page is requested - things such as your IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you looked at. This is kept in standard server logs and is used only to keep the site running and secure.

Where our listings come from The trade profiles, ratings and reviews shown on this site are compiled from publicly available Google Maps business listings. We do not create this content ourselves. If you run a business featured here and would like a listing corrected or removed, please email us at the address above and we will action the request.

Cookies and online advertising Cookies may be set on this website for analytics purposes and to support advertising. Some of our advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies to show adverts based on your browsing interests. You can review and adjust these preferences at any time through Google's advertising controls at myadcenter.google.com.

Your rights Because this site processes some personal data (principally the technical log data described above), you have rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. These include the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.

Links to other sites Our pages link out to installer websites and to Google Maps. Once you leave findmyheatpumpinstaller.co.uk we have no control over, and no responsibility for, how those third parties handle your information - please check their own privacy policies.
