Nationwide retrofit Ltd

Nationwide Retrofit Ltd is an insulation contractor based in Cardiff. Established in 2012, the company has worked in heating, insulation and boiler grants for 10 years. Its main mission is reducing carbon footprint and undertaking retrofit work in the housing sector, primarily through various grant funding schemes, mainly under Energy Company Obligation (ECO) grants. It has helped hundreds of households obtain insulation, heating and boiler upgrades at zero cost.

Services include first-time central heating grants for properties with old electric heaters, replacement of 15-year-old or older non-condensing boilers with a new rated boiler supplied and fitted, along with loft insulation and wall insulation where necessary, air source heat pumps for electric properties with no gas available, loft, room-in-roof and underfloor insulation, and smart thermostats and smart thermostat radiator valves free with any boiler upgrade. A free survey is offered to check eligibility for ECO.

Nationwide retrofit Ltd receives consistent praise from Cardiff homeowners for insulation projects carried out under funded home improvement schemes. External wall insulation and loft work feature prominently, with one customer noting a boiler supplied as part of the package. Reviewers often mention being kept informed at every stage, from the initial assessment through to completion, and quick responses to enquiries. Punctuality and reliability are recurring themes, with crews arriving as scheduled and working without fuss. Tidiness draws frequent comment: floor and window protection was put down before work began, and all debris was removed afterwards.

Mr Lee is named for his professional approach, while the wider team, from office staff to field workers, is described as courteous and friendly. The pricing is called reasonable, and the finished result praised for making the house look smarter, with the standard of insulation described as impressive. A clear point that emerges is the smooth handling of problems and the skilled tradespeople involved, leaving properties clean and properly insulated from start to finish, with homeowners indicating they would use the company again.
