One Insulation Ltd

One Insulation insulated our home as a job done through our county council. The company has such a good reputation, that our County Council hires them for many jobs. One Insulation employees where here off and on for nearly a month, due to an error in calculations by our council !! My husband and I are in our 80's and normally to have people working in your home, can be disruptive to your routine. But I can say with all honesty, it was like having family visiting. Jake, his brother, all the others are the most decent people you could meet. They didn't put upon us, they respected us, our property while concentrating on doing a superb job. The finished result was our rooms looking much better, with the care they took. It was all precise, exacting work. They would often work long hours, travel a long distance on a Monday to get to ours and work hard. My husband and I were grateful to their kindness, their help. There was no tension. They are like a family who spread good will while giving you the best. If you are fortunate to get to use their services , you will see. They are very busy because they are so good. I thought I would dread it but my husband and I were actually delighted with them as people and with the end result. We highly recommend this company.

I called up wanting to get work done ASAP I booked an appointment someone came out on 28th November 2023 and said he will have the team send me an email with the quote. That never happened bit I gave it a while. By 13th December 2023 I heard nothing so I called up again and raised my concern and the lady apologised and said she will have someone call me back that day or the next. A week later today on 20th December 2023 I called up again because still no one called me and she told me the person who came out is on annual leave and they will give me a call after the new year. Its annoying because this company wasted my time and caused me problems for nothing. I stripped all the plasterboard off the walls as I was recommended to because of the job I wanted to get done. I wanted to get this done before I go abroad as I have people set to come finish off the work following this once I am back. The company just messed me around and will probably mess you around I wouldn't recommend it not reliable at all. No I have to find someone else and hope they can do it in a week before I leave which I highly doubt so means I have to change all plans and have rest of the work completed later now.

I had One Insulation to instal open-cell spray foam to the floor of the loft. There was a lot of clearing out to do first. Past buliders had failed to clear up after themselves. Steve and Conor tackled this big clearing out job thoroughly and professionally and with good humour! The foam was sprayed in today and I am looking forward to some smaller heating bills next winter.
