Discrete Heat Co Ltd

ThermaSkirt produces a lovely, gentle and evenly diffused heat that feels very comfortable and natural throughout my flat, and it has been a pleasure to live with. Also, excellent service from Dean and Josh. They spent two days working on my ThermaSkirt system, were professional, friendly and highly knowledgeable throughout, and took the time to explain everything they were doing.

Yet again fantastic service. Part was in stock. Supplied by friendly, knowledgeable, patient staff who were there to guide newbies like me. An example as to how a firm should work. Well done.

I personally installed a Discrete Heat Thirmaskirt system in my house back in 2012. I wanted to avoid the use of radiators and get a better distribution of heat – which I successfully achieved. From a plumbing perspective the system has been great - no problems. Aesthetically the plastic end covers have needed replacing over the years as they have yellowed. I understand from the Discrete Heat support team that later versions have improved on this. Overall the heating system has worked well and the support team have always been available and helpful when I’ve needed them.

Could not recommend this company more. The skirting board heating is absolutely brilliant, it has been so well designed and looks great installed, the skirting stays white, don’t rot and so will last for ages. It has been going strong for 7 years nearly now with rooms all getting nice n toasty with even heat all round. Ethan couldn’t have been more attentive to detail and his support during and after installation was again brilliant like the product.

This product is not trustworthy. I installed it three years ago using an installer trained and recommended by the company. Every year, I also added the inhibitor as instructed. However, leaks occurred every single year, appearing in different places and at different joints. This has caused damage to both my ceiling and flooring. The manufacturer’s claim of a 10-year warranty is also unreliable—they always find excuses to avoid taking responsibility.

We have had ThermaSkirt fitted throughout our house on a recent renovation. The installers Joshua and Alex from IHS Therma did a great job of the installation, they made sure they tidied after each day which my partner was pleased about. The ThermaSkirt gives a very nice even heat in every room. Much better and more efficient than our old radiators. I would highly recommend the ThermaSkirt product and the installers.

I have now had my third room fitted with Thermoskirt!! Fantastic product and quality is of the highest. Before writing this review I thought id look at some of the other reviews just to see other experiences! Really surprised to read the latest review before mine, seems to be one that it is stating facts and faults that I have certainly never experienced and from my point of view it's a great alternative to bulky radiators taking up wall space. I had my first room fitted 5 years ago, and absolutely no issues whatsoever!! Great product. Surround room heat all winter!!! Better in my opinion than the alternatives. Fitters from the company who fitted my 3 rooms were first class and knew exactly how to fit the system and best ways to get around some of the small deviances of none perfect walls! Great shout out to Martin, Ethan, Carl and the team! Photos of the latest room fitted included below.
