Gill Insulation (Nottinghamshire) Limited

Gill Insulation (Nottinghamshire) Limited is an insulation contractor founded in 1948 by Commander Norman Gill. The company has supplied and installed thermal insulation for over 70 years, and has provided trace heating since 2002. It retains a substantial core of directly employed engineers skilled in thermal and acoustic insulation. Its head office is in Nottingham and it covers most of the UK; it also has an office in Ipswich covering the Eastern area. Gill Insulation provides a full design, installation and commissioning service for trace heating.

It carries out mechanical installation heat loss surveys using a thermal imaging camera at sites throughout the country, and trained operatives visit site to measure each project to ensure removable covers fit perfectly. The company worked on 'Project Atria' in Cambridge for almost a year, has been working on a local Nottingham project since Autumn 2019 installing insulation and trace heating throughout the site, and carried out insulation works in Clapham in Summer 2020, having also worked on several South London schools.

Gill Insulation (Nottinghamshire) Limited works as an insulation contractor based in Nottingham, operating from premises on Ebury Road. The company keeps weekday hours from 07:30 to 17:00, finishing an hour earlier on Fridays, and remains closed at weekends. One account of the firm's work concerns HVAC insulation, describing it as a good company and rating the service highly.

That account offers no further detail about the methods, materials or staff involved, so the picture rests on the insulation contracting trade and the single favourable verdict. The business is reachable through its own website, and its base remains the Nottingham address.
