Professional Construction LTD | Ondol - Underfloor Heating

Ondol supplies underfloor heating panels under the HOYA Ondol brand. The panels are designed for both residential and commercial applications and can be installed in both existing homes and new construction. They have a minimum lifespan of 30 years. Ondol panels are 26 mm thick, compared to 50–80 mm for traditional wet methods, and weigh 12–17 kg/m², compared to 90–120 kg/m² for wet methods. They have a compression strength of 34.5 MPa. For a 100 m² area, installation takes 2 days, after which the system is immediately ready for use.

The panels heat a room from 18°C to 30°C in 1 hour and 33 minutes, compared to 3 hours and 26 minutes with wet methods. They are compatible with various floor finishes. Ondol panels have an infrared efficiency of 90.3%, a heat emission of 364 W/m² at a supplied water temperature of 40°C, and a radiant heat storage of 146 J/m²·s. They use radiant heat directly from the floor, eliminate the need for concrete work, and have no bulky radiators or ventilation ducts.
