RJ Insulation

Having had an installation company go into liquidation before finishing, being scammed by another, I sought advice from Trading Standards in Ipswich. They recommended R J Insulation. Following a brief chat on the 'phone I was visited by member of staff the following day and a quotation was given within the hour and I was shown samples of material that would be used. A quotation was given and accepted with a promise to start within ten days of paying a 25% deposit. ( I was even advised to pay by credit card rather than make a bank transfer as this would give me greater financial protection). On installation day the installation team were waiting for me when I opened the door at 8am The removal of 12 inches of 35 year old (damp) rock wool and installation 25 cm Supasoft in our Granny Annex (a converted double garage and our 4 bedroom house was completed before 4.30 pm and every thing left immaculate. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Everything from start to finish was done promptly and professionally and to my complete satisfaction.

The guys at RJ Insulation are absolutely brilliant to work with—great people, and their service is second to none. They’re very knowledgeable, and I highly recommend them.

"Following my husband’s cancer treatment, we downsized to make our lives easier. This started three-months of hell after discovering a rat infestation in the loft. After eliminating the blighters, we booked a clearance with an expensive pest control company who recommended a simultaneous re-insulation. Wary of re-insulating with the same fibrous material, we researched alternatives deciding on SuperFoil with RJ Insulation. Alfie was friendly & knowledgeable with information about materials and cost. A surveyor arrived on time and assessed the job. We booked the installation two days after the clearance. RJ Installation arrived promptly and found old insulation left in hard-to-reach areas. They immediately removed the mess, including. three redundant water tanks. Thank goodness we refused the recommendation from the other company who would have re-insulated on top of the mess and not told us! The RJ Insulation crew were, without any doubt – the most efficient, friendly and cheerful crew we have EVER had working in our homes, instilling us with confidence and informing us of every action and inviting regular inspection. The SuperFoil has noticeably improved the temperature in our home. We were surprised to see the frost outside our super toasty house. I don’t hand out money or praise where it is not deserved and RJ Insulation deserve every bit of praise, and every penny paid. They were simply marvellous, and I have no hesitation in recommending them. "

Very happy with my loft transformation. Very old, dirty existing material bagged up and removed. Hoovered out and replaced with fresh insulation made from recycled bottles. Installers were hard working, courteous and efficient. Looks so much better.

Probably the best contractors I have ever used! Super professional, very friendly and really efficient work too. I originally contacted them because of their Which accreditation and they didn't disappoint at all. They gave me a lot of information, and provided useful suggestions for the loft. I was looking for very specific size ladders and hatches, and also some lighting/electrical outlets and they accommodated the whole thing. I was originally quoted something that was slightly higher than I was able to pay at the time and they were even able to provide me a slight discounted price to match that which was unbelievably generous. I spoke with Alfie and Ross a lot before the process and they were so great to liaise with. Super genuine and warm team! When it came to installation, Max and the team were great. They completed the whole job in less than 2 days and were super efficient. I had just moved into the home and had a fair amount of cardboard and refuse taking up a lot of space and they even offered to take all of it away for me for free, just to be helpful. We ended up having a chimney removed later down the line which left a hole in the insulation and they were able to come back within a week of me contacting them to patch the rest up and do a once over check for everything. As always, very professional, greatly informative, really high level of polish on the work itself. Great solutions and went above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the whole team!

Everyone I spoke to arrange a quote and loft insulation were friendly, professional and efficient. The two gentlemen who completed the work were on time. They were friendly and professional. Ramon took photos of the loft and showed me how they were going to insulate the loft. They covered my carpet, and hoovered before they left. I have already noticed the difference in my flat. It was freezing before, as I live by the coast, however the rooms stay warmer for longer, and it no longer feels bitter cold. Thank you 😃

Max and his team did excellent work here! They are highly skilled craftsman and additionally, very nice to have around. Indeed, RJ Insulation is very fortunate to have found such a reliable, highly efficient group of installers. And I can state without any hesitation, that I would recommend their services to anyone needing insulation work carried out in their home. They arrived on time, and the price was highly competitive. Indeed I could not find any other company prepared to match their quote, while offering such a high standard of workmanship! Also, in leaving, they emphasised that in the highly unlikely event that ANY issues should arise that needed attention, that they would be able to return to resolve the matter within days of being informed! Or if I needed any additional work carried out that I thought of at a later stage, Max told me that they would prioritise my request so I would not have to wait long for another appointment. I found this company by searching a wide range of different review sites, and noted that there were no significant negative reviews, but loads of incredible reviews and recommendations and most important of all was that on their website I noted that Which Magazine had recommended them, and Which are perhaps the most trusted review source of all available review sources!
