Insulation and dry lining supplies sit at the centre of what this North Shields branch offers, and trade customers working on projects around Newcastle upon Tyne return to it for that reason. Kindness and helpfulness among the team come up again and again, with Sam, John and Paul named for the attention they give to enquiries and the enthusiasm they bring to sorting out requests.

One thing mentioned again and again is how far the staff will go to track down a particular specification of insulation when time is tight, including getting an urgent order out to a site early in the following week after other merchants had drawn a blank. Reviewers often mention dependable delivery, straightforward in-store collection and a stock range that covers dry lining materials, render supplies and building materials.

Construction firms speak of dealing with the business across many years and of the ease of obtaining what a job needs. Drivers are described as courteous and accommodating, even on long runs, while customers in the shop find the same patient, knowledgeable approach when matching products to a scheme. Quality, efficiency and reasonable prices are cited alongside the personal care shown by John and Paul, whose availability by phone is valued by regular trade buyers.
