Scottherm insulation

ScotTherm is a TrustMark approved insulation contractor based in Edinburgh, working across Scotland. The company supplies and fits insulation, collaborating with TrustMark approved installers who can install insulation after funding through schemes such as ECO 4, the Great British Insulation Scheme and the Warmer Homes Scotland grant. ScotTherm offers loft, external wall, internal wall, cavity wall, and underfloor insulation. Its insulation materials include mineral wool, sheep's wool, foil, and PIR boards.

Specifically, it uses Knauf mineral wool (Earthwool and Rockwool products) and ThermaFleece Cosywool for sheep's wool. ScotTherm does not use spray foam insulation on domestic properties. Its own installation team and partner installers follow a set protocol on every job, including a thorough inspection at the end by a senior member of staff. ScotTherm is fully licensed, bonded and insured, and has a proven track record across Scotland.

Scottherm insulation is the name that recurs throughout the feedback left for this Edinburgh contractor, with loft insulation the service described in almost every account, carried out in the city and in Pathhead just beyond it. Customers writing about their orders describe the difference the installation made to how warm their homes felt once it was finished. Reliability and punctuality come up often, with work completed when it had been promised, from the first quotation through to the finished installation.

The team, including Brian and Paul, is described as friendly, professional and knowledgeable, taking time to explain the process and answer questions raised during the visit. Tidiness is mentioned just as regularly, with lofts left spotless and no mess remaining once the installers had gone. Honest pricing and good value for money are also noted, along with the care taken to respect the home while work was under way. A number of reviews mention that staff were organised, clearly took satisfaction in what they did and kept disruption to a minimum, making the whole experience straightforward. What the accounts return to is how clean, warm and well insulated the properties were left.
