The company is accredited by MCS, HETAS, RECC and REFCOM, and certified by MCS, HETAS, Gas Safe and REFCOM. It installs and commissions air and ground source heat pump systems. Services include heat pump servicing, biomass boiler installation and servicing, and commercial and industrial heating installation and servicing; heat pump servicing is carried out by MCS accredited engineers.

Yarrow Energy serves homes, businesses and the public sector, and has engineers and franchise partners across the UK. Projects include the Tall Ship Glenlee, West of Scotland Science Park, CoVault Prestige Offices and Bikes For Good, Glasgow. Commercial and industrial heating installation covers bars, hotels, factories and estates.

Domestic projects involving ground source and air source systems feature prominently in the feedback for this Glasgow company. A recurring theme is the technical depth brought to installations, with a household reporting that a ground source heat pump was replaced and linked into both the existing heating setup and the buried pipework, delivered within the agreed timescale and budget. Customers writing about their orders describe the explanations given during and after the work as clear and patient, especially where air source technology was unfamiliar; a written summary of findings is mentioned as part of the handover.

Reliability is a point that comes up often, with reviewers noting that visits happen when promised and that queries are answered without extra charges. One air source boiler system has been maintained across several years, an arrangement a household considers a sound decision, and Andrew is named by customers as professional and knowledgeable. Promptness and an approachable manner run through the accounts, alongside a readiness to talk through how unfamiliar equipment works. Thorough installation, ongoing servicing and patient advice recur across the domestic work described.
