i was in somewhat urgent need of someone who could look at my cellar since insulation in one of the underfloor section was damp. Calum did a great job by arranging couple of his lads to visit my property to deal with the issue, he has given me couple of proposals which i am progressing with him. The service from Insulation Installers was fantastic, it was a quick and efficient enquiry process with a very helpful advisor Calum. The subsequent installation process was flawless, Insulation Installers came and removed all of my damaged insulation and installed all new insulation within 1 week of the original enquiry. Insulation Installers friendly staff has been very helpful in answering any queries I had throughout the process and also have checked in twice since install to make sure there are no issues. The problem we had was a old bungalow with damp insulation in the loft and no under floor insulation. We were given a recommendation from a friend to get insulation installers. Once we got in touch with Calum he was very helpful, informative and viewed the property and advised that he would have to remove all insulation and replace. Also done underfloor insulation to the whole house. Big shout out to the workers whom were great from the start to finish, turned up on time explained everything and never complained about the tight underfloor space. Also sent us all pictures of under floor and loft insulation of the work that they had done and what a great job they did. We would highly recommend Calum and his team. Very professional job.
Recently had room in roof insulation carried out in September 2025. In our case the room is a large living area where the ceiling is formed by a large sloping roof area and reaching up to upstairs bedroom ceiling height so quite high and requiring the use of staging within the room. The work was carried out professionally with great care , avoiding damage and dust, stripping off the old ceiling area and then fitting thick Kingspan blocks between roof rafters finished with insulating blanket and of course new plasterboard fitted and finally plaster skimmed. An upstairs cupboard ceiling under the same roof was also insulated the same way and a void space behind the upstairs bathroom under the roof was also insulated with rockwool insulation. The work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard and as per the quote and started and completed in the agreed period. A very well recommended company to have your insulation needs and upgrades carried out with. I tried to contact several other companies advertising insulation installation by phone and email which either didn't bother replying or made half hearted attempts at considering the job which I find puzzling in these times and a common theme I find in trades these days. But Insulation Installers Scotland did reply and did get a work scope survey done promptly, got a quote out and the great work done.
Excellent service from first visit to completion of my upstairs' toilet and bedroom which were really cold. Calum identified the problem and his work force completed the task in hand and on time. Insulation Installers Scotland fitted our underfloor insulation. We were delighted with the initial survey, the very reasonable quote and the subsequent installation. All staff who were involved were very pleasant, making sure that they caused as little disruption and dust as possible, cleaning up before they moved on. We were particularly impressed at them working in a very narrow crawl space under our house. We were also sent photos of various stages of the work. Callum also gave good advice on how to apply for a grant which went towards the cost. We have enthused so much about the improvement in our insulation that our son and daughter in law used the same company for their underfloor insulation. They too were delighted.
